One of the co-founders of GRID2, Akka Ma has over twenty years’ experience in environmental, graphic, and retail design. Akka’s particular expertise is in large-scale design projects and in developing graphic and architectural solutions that articulate brand image in every detail.

Akka is a member of the Institute of Store Planners; his projects have garnered awards including the Identity Magazine Award of Excellence, the VM+SD International Store Design award, and Chain Store Age Magazine Retail Stores of the Year.

Akka has a BFA in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design and attended the MA program in Interior Design at Pratt Institute. He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
